Yesterday, Neil and I took a trip down the Natchez Trace parkway to grab ice cream at Leiper's Fork and take Bloom for a walk out in the country. It was so beautiful and relaxing - driving across the Tennessee countryside feels like home to me now, despite growing up in Illinois. Summer is in full swing here, since we've been in the middle of a heat wave (like most of the country) for a couple of weeks.
Leiper's Fork is a little hamlet of a town just southwest of Nashville, where we go from time to time to listen to music and eat barbecue at Puckett's Grocery. We took Bloom on a walk along the street and ate our ice cream before it could melt. It was an easy going day - perfect for striped maxi dresses, linen button ups, and rolled down windows.
Neil is wearing a white linen button up, khaki shorts, and K Swiss canvas sneakers - all from Billy Reid (his birthday outfit!), and a thrifted leather belt. I'm wearing a striped maxi dress from Forever 21, Target straw tote (2.50!), and leather wedge sandals by Kork Ease.
And I just realized I never announced the Alexandra Grecco giveaway winner! Chosen via random.org, congrats to Sara of Sweet Harvest Moon!
