I have to thank you guys for your constant support and encouragement over my handmade pieces.. I've received the sweetest words and overall reception from you all here and elsewhere, and it really makes my day. Thank you so much! While the other pieces are gone, the patchwork top and muslin dress are still in the shop! Next handmade update coming June 27th with a brand new crop top style. Thanks again, you guys.
Have you seen this film? Days of Heaven, written and directed by Terrence Malick, is considered to be a masterpiece in cinematography - a film where the landscape plays an integral role in storytelling. The scenery is majestic, the colors are muted but vivid - rolling wheat fields, diffused sunsets in purples and blues, trains ambling on with billowing puffs of smoke against a blue sky. The characters themselves are realistic and unchanging, blending in seamlessly with the nature around them. In other words, it's all beautiful. I fell hard for this movie when we watched it the other night.
